I haven’t posted about our daughter’s dark blue bedroom in a while mainly because nothing had changed and it’s usually a tad bit of a mess. I did mention in a post though that her star-shaped Moravian chandelier had broken when my husband hit his head on it and believe me it’s not a piece you want to hit your head on. So ever since then, we’ve been on the hunt for something new that was affordable and didn’t hurt your head when you bumped into it. Oh, and of course a chandelier that our daughter liked because there were so many that I loved but she didn’t. When I dropped my dad off at the airport after a wonderful two-week visit (where I ate way too much), I stopped at Ikea because it is right on the way to the Philadelphia airport. That’s when I spotted the perfect white and blue chandelier for her room that didn’t break the bank and was made of fabric which meant it wouldn’t hurt our heads either.
